Welcome to the 18th Ward Latter-Day Saint Voices blog. I am Laura Lofgreen and I have been asked to be the ward historian. After prayer and discussion with the bishop, I've felt inspired to start this blog for you to share stories and experiences that have brought you closer to Jesus Christ. The name of the blog was suggested by Rachel Fenn. At the back of every Ensign is a selection of stories called Latter-Day Saint Voices. The articles are almost like journal entries, where members of the church around the world share personal experiences that have brought them closer to Christ.
Maybe it's a trial you've overcome or a blessing that came just when you needed it. Maybe its your love for your family or a great recipe. Perhaps Family Home Evening was really special or your missionary sent a letter you'd like to share. Maybe you've survived divorce or the death of a loved one. If you're a new member, we'd love to hear your conversion story.
This is a great way to keep up with your family history too.
